This is fantastic for a high-quality and super-compact travel whiskey glass. I have a strong preference for the cairn-style glass and have long wished for a high-quality and compact travel set. Previously, my go-to was the aged and ore travel set (pictured for comparison), which has the advantage of also carrying 3oz of whiskey inside along with the glass. However, that case is considerably larger and I much prefer the cairn style glass to the wider aged and ore glass. I would love to see a version of this same high-quality case for a full sized cairn for times when space isn't a concern. That said, I was worried this glass would be too small, but after using it a few times I find it is still great despite the smaller size. And of course it is infinitely better than scrounging for a plastic cup at a hotel, etc. I also wasn't sure about the logo but find I do enjoy being able to use it for measurement. Overall, it's a great product and well worth the premium price point.
This has to be the best thing ever made when it come to a Glencairn. It’s the perfect size, comes in a secure case so no need to worry about dropping it. And it’s extremely easy to carry and take with you anywhere. I love using mine when going over to a friends house to hang out and drink, no more Red Solo Cups for me. I can enjoy my bourbon or whiskey in the glass it was meant to be drank from neat. I highly recommend this set and they make great gifts for your drinking buddies.
